Have you ever asked yourself what would have happened to Kobe's career if he went to duke university after highschool instead of going the NBA route? SBTG did his answer is a very exclusive 1 of 1 custom painted Nike Dunk High which was handed over to Kobe on his latest asia trip in Singapore. The shoe features the Duke black and blue colour theme as well as Kobe's and SBTG's logo as Nike dunk sb customs high white blue PeachÂ laserprint on the heels and a beige/yellow midsole for vintage looks.

During the recent Asia tour by Nike-sponsored basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, a familiar Nike associated artist and customizer in SBTG presented Kobe Bryant with an exclusive pair of “Varsity Bones” Dunk Highs inspired by the theme of “What If”. The shoes were modeled after Bryant’s potential attendance at NCAA Division 1 school Duke with the relevant colorways seen alongside a special lasered wooden box with the Kobe Bryant logo. While much of SBTG’s work pertains to custom shoes, the man himself has seen himself at the center of his very own Nike SB collaboration a few years back.

So Kobe Bryant just wrapped up his Nike Basketball Tour in Asia, the stop in Singapore was one to remember as he not only checked up on the local young players but he also recieved these custom from some of the best customizers in the game. These are the Nike Dunk Hi’s from designers, SBTG. SBTG’s last project was an Original Collection of custom College Nike Dunk. So they decided to create a special “Varsity Bones” pair for Kobe Bryant featuring the idea of “What if?”. So its pretty much saying “What if Kobe had played at Duke?” instead of the NBA. So the SBTG x Nike Dunk High features the Duke colorway as well as some graphics and insignia of both Bryant and Duke. This pair was made for Kobe so it was an US 14 and came in a special wooden box.
