Nike Dunks  »  Men's Nike Dunks  »  Nike Dunk Low  »  Nike SB Dunk Low Takashi II

As part of Nike Skateboarding’s October release, a new Dunk Low created by Takashi Hosokawa will be released. Back in 2003, Takashi also designed a Nike SB Dunk Low with a similar black/gold colorway. This 2007 Takashi II features an off black leather upper with a suede toebox. Lasering can be seen on the back panels while a silver Swoosh and a heel tab are also highlights. Check your local SB dealer as these should be dropping within the this month.

Nike Dunk Low Premium SB Takashi 2 II In 2003 Nike created a pair of Dunk Lows with Takashi Hosokawa and this month the two are at it again with a new release. The Nike SB Dunk Low Takashi II is in a black and gold colorway and features leather and suede materials along with a laser print on the back panel and a silver swoosh.

Takashi Hosokawa has designed another Dunk Low for Nike SB. Automatically these Dunks have been dubbed as the “Takashi 2’s”. A while back when we first reported on these Dunks it was said they were a collabo with a Japenese skateshop. Now we understand where the mix up came from since Takashi is from Japan. They feature a black base, chrome swoosh, and lasered artwork on the back panels.

These Takashi 2 Dunk Lows were released in October 2007 with a Black upper that features Metallic Silver and laser details in the back heel area. These became known as the Takashi 2 because the Takashi 1 features similar colors. This time around, the gold is swapped for silver, giving them a familiar feel with a new twist. With Dunk SB designs starting to get so crazy as the time, these can be appreciated for the nice and simple approach.
